Maintestream, a service of King Invo LLC (“Maintestream,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share personal information when you interact with our website, Services, and communications, and it consolidates and replaces the privacy-related provisions previously found in Maintestream’s Privacy Policy and Electronic Communications Agreement.
This Privacy Policy applies to all Users of the Services, including tenants, property owners, property managers, property management companies, and Service Providers (including their companies, technicians, employees, and 1099 contractors).
1. Information We CollectWe may collect the following categories of information:
•Personal Information, such as your name, phone number, email address, and mailing address.
•Property and Request Information, such as property address, unit or property name, maintenance issue description, and repair category.
•Service Provider and Technician Information, such as company name and address, license and insurance information, and whether an individual is an owner, employee, or 1099 contractor of a Service Provider, collected in connection with onboarding and our Technician Consent Form.
•Device Information, including your IP address, browser type, and operating system.
•Usage Data, such as pages visited, time spent on the site, and links clicked.
•Communications Data, including mobile phone numbers, email addresses, and the content and metadata of text message and email interactions with Maintestream.
2. How We Use Your InformationWe use the information we collect to:
•Route and coordinate tenant maintenance requests between tenants, Clients, and Service Providers;
•Deliver the Services and provide customer and technical support;
•Communicate with you by text message and email regarding maintenance requests, scheduling, and related account activity;
•Respond to inquiries and service requests;
•Analyze and improve our website and Services; and
•Comply with applicable legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. SMS/Text Messaging Communications and ConsentBy providing your phone number and opting in to receive text messages, you consent to receive automated, transactionaltext messages from Maintestream related to maintenance requests, service-provider assignments, scheduling, and related account activity. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or reply HELP at any time for assistance. Full SMS terms, including our opt-in and opt-out mechanics, are set out in our Terms of Service.
These communications are used solely to operate the Services described above and are not used for marketing or promotional messaging.
4. How We Share Your Information4.1 General SharingWe do not sell your personal information. We may share personal information with:
•Trusted service providers, including maintenance service providers (such as, but not limited to, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and handyman companies and their employees) engaged to carry out a maintenance request, and technology vendors such as text messaging and email platforms, payment processors, and other third-party companies necessary to operate the Services;
•Law enforcement or government agencies, if required by law or legal process; and
•Business partners, where necessary to deliver the Services (for example, a Client whose property is the subject of a maintenance request).
4.2 SMS Opt-In Data — Not Shared for MarketingNo mobile information or text messaging opt-in/consent data will be shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, at any time. This applies to all categories of information described in this Privacy Policy. Any sharing described in Section 4.1 is limited to what is necessary to operate the Services (for example, sending your maintenance request to a service provider, or sending you a text message about that request) and to compliance with applicable law — never for a third party’s independent marketing or promotional use.
5. Data RetentionWe retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations (including TCPA and CAN-SPAM consent recordkeeping), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Maintenance request and communications records are retained as part of Maintestream’s operational history and audit trail.
6. Data SecurityWe use industry-standard security practices to protect your data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Privacy RightsDepending on your state of residence, you may have the right to:
•Know and access the personal information we hold about you;
•Correct inaccurate personal information;
•Delete personal information we have collected about you;
•Restrict or object to certain processing of your personal information;
•Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (Maintestream does not sell personal information) or of certain targeted advertising (Maintestream does not engage in targeted advertising); and
•Withdraw consent at any time, including consent to receive electronic communications as described in our Terms of Service.
If you are a Texas resident, these rights are provided in accordance with the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act; residents of other states may have similar rights under applicable state law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. To exercise your rights, contact us using the information in Section 11; we may need to verify your identity before completing your request. If we decline a request, you may appeal that decision using the same contact information.
8. Children’s PrivacyThe Services are not directed to, and are not intended for use by, individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
